Philipp Möller

Philipp Möller is shareholder and CEO of Möller & Förster. Founded in 1934 as a building materials trading company, the group is now active across specialty retail, real estate development and administration. 

Philipp brings extensive knowledge in private equity. From 2010 to 2022, he served as a Deputy Board Chairman of publicly listed PE firm Deutsche Beteiligungs, which invests in "hidden champions" across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy with €2.6B under management. 

Since 2018, Philipp has served on the advisory board of drugstore chain Rossmann, one of the largest in Europe. In this period, Rossmann has been publishing a sustainability report for the development of corporate climate protection activities and the firm was recently featured in UN documentary “50 Sustainability & Climate Leaders”. He also serves on the Board of GWF in Switzerland, a company leading in innovative measurement system solutions that help customers responsibly manage natural resources.

Philipp is one of the initiators of the ‘Startup Teens’, the largest German social enterprise and digital platform for entrepreneurship and coding. Startup Teens received the Startsocial Award, presented by former German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel.
