Ana Silva is a seasoned capital markets and investment professional with vast experience in capital markets transactional work, especially debt financing, including structuring of thematic sustainable financing. For over 13 years, Ana was employed in the Investment Banking division of J.P. Morgan originating, structuring and executing debt offerings for a myriad of corporate investment grade and high yield clients. Most recently, she was the Head of J.P. Morgan’s Sustainable Finance Debt Capital Markets where she and her team were responsible for sustainable finance advisory and development of best practices in the structuring of sustainable loans and bonds.  In addition, Ana spearheaded and implemented, with senior management, J.P. Morgan’s internal sustainable finance framework and policies. Prior to J.P. Morgan Ana held banking positions at both Barclays Capital and BofA Merrill Lynch. Ana has also been a practicing securities law attorney with wide range experience in debt and equity capital raises and worked for many years for the law firm A&O Shearman (formerly Shearman LLP). More recently, leveraging her diversified experience combined with a robust network of professionals she worked and met over the years, Ana has been investing and collaborating on multiple fronts by introducing investors to founders and companies in need of capital sources that are mostly focused on sustainable and impact investments as well as advising companies in their sustainability and capital raising trajectory. Ana holds a Masters’ Degree in Law from NYU, a Post- Graduate Business Certificate in Private Capital (VC/PE) from Columbia University in addition to a Graduate Law Degree and Undergraduate Economics Degree from her native country Brazil.
